Almighty God has blessed us: our souls will not forget.
Though trials come to test us, our confidence is set.
You save us from perdition. You heal us when we’re ill.
In ev’ry bad condition we’re safe within your will.
You are merciful and gracious, and ever slow to rage,
Abounding in tenacious love lasting age to age.
For you work vindication for all who are oppressed.
You bring us to salvation, you bring us to our rest.
Our days are like a flower that blooms and then is gone.
Your covenantal power in mercy presses on.
Your throne stands firm as ever; you rule in ev’ry place:
In life and death, forever, our souls will praise your grace.
I pledge to you, my Savior, my faithful loyalty,
Because you freely gave your own life to ransom me.
So grateful for your mercy, I’ll live for you each day.
In ev’ry controversy, your truth will guide my way.
In fervent aspiration, I lift my heart to sing
Eternal adoration to you, my God and King!
