Blessed Creator, Lord of All We See

Blessed Creator, Lord of all we see,
We stand in awe before this mystery:
You name us heirs and venture to entrust
All of this world to mortals made of dust.

Merciful Jesus, saving us from dread
For all the times we’ve not done as you said,
As you have died that our lives might be freed,
Teach us to sacrifice for those in need.

Spirit of God, by sov’reign choice you fill
Each life with gifts, according to your will.
Help us, we pray, as we seek to invest
All of this wealth with which we have been blessed.

O Triune God, we pledge ourselves to you.
We set our hearts to live as stewards who
Work to establish your redemptive plan
In every place throughout creation’s span.
